2019 Summer Soccer Program

Little Kickers (Ages 5-7)
Soccer Program 2019

Who:  Boys and girls ages of 5-7
When:  One day a week in July 6:30-8:00
              (day to be announced soon)

The primary goal for the Little Kicker’s program is for everyone to have fun and improve their soccer skills.  Our basic philosophy is to foster a positive, supportive atmosphere so that every player has a great experience.  There are no official games so if your child can not make a week or must leave early it is no problem.

The players will be rotating through a series of drills and playing some small sided games on a reduced size field.  If there are any parents that would like to assist please let me know, many hands are helpful with this age group.  (Please don’t be shy.)  We always need volunteers to help run some of our stations so please let me know if you are interested in assisting us.

Starting after the 4th of July.  We will meet one day a week from 6:30-8:00, in the past it has been Mondays but it will depend on who we get the availability of the volunteer coaches.  Our primary location will be at the town fields on Route 12 behind the baseball field.  If there is a baseball game we will be at the large Rt. 12 soccer field.  If the weather is uncooperative we will not meet that week.

All children should have a parent or guardian available during the entire practice in case bathroom break, first aid or time away from the group is necessary.

Required Equipment:  Please make sure that your child has a water bottle, shin guards, sneakers (or soccer cleats), shorts and a T-shirt.  I encourage your child to bring their own ball (labeled) if they have one.  (Children under the age of 8 should have a size 3 soccer ball.)  Balls and water bottles should be labeled.

In order to keep the program going for the young children we need more parents to help at this level.  Please let Heather know if you are able to help.  We are looking forward to a great summer of soccer. Click Here to apply to coach.
